Vienna graduated from the University of St. Mark and St. John, Plymouth with BA (Hons) in Primary Education before gaining her PGCE through Poole SCITT.
Following her graduation, Vienna has worked as a teacher in the UK for 10 years. She has taught across the Primary age range; from EYFS to Lower Key Stage 2. During this time, she gained valuable experience as a Year Leader and Physical Education leader across the Primary Federation for the last 9 years; a subject which she is incredibly passionate about.
Vienna takes great pride in creating a learning environment where every child feels safe, happy, and confident to challenge themselves, take risks, and seek support when needed. She believes that learning should always be fun, creative, engaging, and highly visual, helping children to develop into independent learners and thoughtful, resilient individuals. Vienna is passionate about building strong relationships with her students and creating a classroom atmosphere where children feel valued, encouraged, and excited to learn each day. She enjoys providing meaningful learning opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom, allowing children to develop important life skills through collaboration, exploration, and problem-solving activities. Vienna strongly values child-initiated learning and encourages children to follow their own interests, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning journey. She aims to instil a sense of independence, curiosity, and pride in her students so that they feel confident to progress at their own pace while supporting and learning from one another along the way.
Vienna has led several sports and clubs in her current school including athletics, rounders, quiz club, and board game club. She is enthusiastic about offering exciting opportunities for the children and is excited about the extra-curricular opportunities at Dover Court.
Outside of school, Vienna enjoys keeping active and challenging herself in new ways. In 2025, she set herself the goal of running a half marathon every month, something she found both rewarding and motivating. She also loves going to the cinema, visiting the gym, reading new books, and spending quality time with friends and family. Vienna is incredibly excited to begin this new chapter in Singapore and is looking forward to exploring the country, learning more about its culture, and travelling to nearby countries across Asia.
