On May 4 and 11, a group of nine Northbridge International School Cambodia students from Grade 10 and 11 started their project of designing an activity room for The Rabbit School students studying at Toul Kork Primary School.
Upon coordinating with the school personnel, the team found out that they have a spare room and so they offered to make it an activity room that will be appropriate for kids with disabilities.
The group used the funds earned by the Student Council from the Valentines package delivery, Lib4kids Club, and their various other fund-raising activities.
The two Saturday mornings were spent cleaning the room and installing interlocking mat tiles on the floor. They will finalize their project by adding furniture and purchasing art, toys and craft supplies before the school year ends.
