Before Christmas, grade 2P went to the medical-social institution of "Saint Loup" in Versoix to spend a moment with the elderly. They danced, sang and offered each of them a gingerbread heart of their own. With some of them, they even exchanged a few "handmade balls" (of sand). The residents enjoyed this simple and joyful encounter. One of them, Robert, 93, is the great-grandfather of one of the students.
This intergenerational exchange was very convivial and a moving moment. It makes children aware of the circle of life and brings joy to the residents, joy that made them grow when they were young and continues to live in their memory. It is a great experience that deserves to be developed over the school year, throughout several encounters.
