Teacher showcase: Janine Jalube

Janine Jalube is our grade 4 English teacher, with over 15 years teaching experience in international schools and English clubs in both Switzerland and her home country of Colombia. Now in her 7th year at Champittet, Janine loves working amongst great colleagues and a warm and friendly community of students and parents. She is particularly passionate about teaching English as a foreign language to young children, and seeing just how fast they learn! She spends her free time with her son of 10 years and daughter of 5. Janine enjoys travelling as an opportunity to learn about new and different cultures. One of her favourite quotes is “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” – Dr. Seuss.
