Life at the boarding house
Students will feel immediately at home in our boarding house. Housing two students per bedroom, with the girls and boys on separate floors, our house is complete with lounges and common areas, multiple designated study rooms, a fitness suite, and wi-fi among other amenities, all designed to foster a sense of home. Students are welcome to personalise their rooms, which are well equipped with bedding, individual storage units and safes for valuables. Our students enjoy daily cleaning service and laundry service.
Our experienced boarding house team cares for our students round the clock, providing them with all the support they require to progress academically and socially. Students can access an on-site nurse and school counselor, and the state-of-the-art CHUV hospital in Lausanne is minutes away in case of any more serious health issues. All students are covered by the school’s Swiss medical insurance, guaranteeing the best rapid and high-quality of care. And of course if parents have any questions or concerns, they can reach our boarding house team at any time.
At Collège Champittet, we understand that good nutrition is a key component of student success. Our catering service, Eldora, offers a variety of healthy food options that cater to students’ dietary requirements, and provides for special needs upon request. Cooking classes and themed meals celebrate our students’ varied cultures.

Entertainment aplenty awaits our students once classes end. Whether it’s using their free time to go swimming in the lake, hiking in the mountains or visiting the Olympic Museum next door, students will never lack opportunities for fun and adventure. In our structured extra-curricular activities, which are mandatory for all students, we strive to strike a balance between sports, culture & leisure. Local outings and overseas excursions both are planned with students’ interests in mind and offer great opportunities for residents to deepen friendships and build their community.
