Léman Junior Global Campus Story Sacks — I'd Really Like to Eat a Child"

In Léman International School’s third contribution to the Junior Global Campus Story Sacks series, Year 4 classroom teacher, Mr. Felipe Giraldo, has created a set of activities to encourage Nord Anglia students to have a growth mindset, to stay physically active, and to maintain healthy habits. The book "I'd Really Like to Eat a Child" by Sylviane Donnio, tells the story of a little crocodile who refuses to eat because he only wants to eat a child.

By exploring this fun story, students will work on a variety of areas. For personal development, the students will learn about the importance of having a balanced diet and exercising. In maths, they will explore different non-standard units of measurement, and measure different objects around their homes. They will make better sense of the world by working in the kitchen preparing healthy bell pepper pizzas. In art, they will be challenged to make a three and a half metres long life-size crocodile. Lastly, our school Athletic Director, Mr. Tom McCabe, will offer an invigorating crocodile workout!
