Pattaya Parents Enjoy an Evening of Fine Foods & Wine Regents' parents meet up to to enjoy local and imported fine foods and wine. Parents at Regents International School Pattaya were recently treated to a special social event as the school joined forces with Rainer Roessler of Wine Direct and several other suppliers to offer the first ever Regents Fine Foods & Drink Evening.

Over 80 parents sampled a range of products either produced in Thailand or imported from overseas. This included fine wines from around the world, specialist cheeses, pimento olives, South African and Swedish delicacies and a range of condiments and dips. Alfresco barbeques offered the best from Sloane’s Artisan Butcher and Jim Fortune South African Delicacies.

Tim Eaton from Regents, who organised the event with Rainer Roessler, commented: “The great thing about Regents is that it is so much more than a school – it’s a community. Several hundred families choose to send their children here, and although some of those families originate from Thailand the majority have relocated to Pattaya from overseas. Events like this one provide them with an opportunity to build up a network of support and friendship when they arrive. The Fine Foods & Drink Evening has been a great success in that respect and I’d like to thank all those suppliers who put on such an impressive spread tonight.”
