Regents' students head to Malaysia for Sports Tournament

18 June 2014

The beautiful thing about sport at Regents International School Pattaya is that it’s about more than participation, competition, sportsmanship and endeavor (although all four are very important to us). It’s also about making friends and connections both in Thailand and further afield.

Our Primary School (Elementary School) students recently took advantage of the school’s membership of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) to compete at a tournament at ELC International School in Malaysia and, whilst there, make a whole new set of friends.

Following a short flight to Malaysia from the airport in Bangkok, Team Regents enjoyed a busy four days of athletics, swimming, football and T-ball and returned with an impressive haul of medals. More importantly, they returned with an impressive haul of memories – well done to each any every competitor.
