CSWA (Certificate in Solidworks Associate) in Mechanical Design is an after school activity for students who are interested in 3D mechanical design. The course takes about 65 hours of study and is normally completed by university student engineers, designers and industrial professionals. It is an internationally recognized qualification and often helps students gain employment in the engineering industry. Once qualified your name is registered on the SolidWorks Certification Center’s website for all potential employers to view.
Regents International School Pattaya is listed alongside many Thai academic universities like King Mongkut's University of Technology, Bangkok, The Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology and Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University.
The course was set up by the Head of Design and Technology, Mr Steven Daly, who is a graduate engineer, CSWA qualified and long term user of SolidWorks. Mr Daly commented:
"The students and I are incredibly grateful to Paul Crouch and David Williams who had the foresight to help fund and support this programme by helping expose students to industrial standard education and training. This is another reason why sending your child to Regents International School Pattaya will provide your child with a unique world class experience."
