The school’s Round Square Special Projects Fund was first established immediately after the Asian Tsunami in 2004. The response from our own community and the wider Round Square community was immediate. It was important to set up a transparent fund to account for all incoming finances and also the funds that were allocated to support projects in the South of Thailand, such as the Baan Koh Phi Phi School lunch programme and the Laem Tong Sea Gypsy Community Centre (PICC).
This fund is the school’s central fund, which also supports long-term community partnerships and programmes such as our scholarships for the Tiger Kloof and Starehe Gap Students and the Baan Maelid Hill Tribe Project .The main events that sustain this fund are whole-school activitiess such as International Day.
