Report from Mr Andrew Crush:

Well the sun has set on our first day here in Rayong and what a busy first day we have had. Once the students were settled into their houses, we took a short bus ride to the near by wetlands. The students loaded into small boats and were taken around the beautiful surroundings.

Mr Williams taught the students about the local environment and why the wetlands are so important to this part of Thailand. We also supported the local re-forestation project by planting trees to replace the old ones that had been taken down and used for local industry.

We then returned to moment-villas expecting calm seas, but the tide had picked up a little which made our swim test a bit more exciting than usual.

After a delicious dinner, our students separated off into their groups and into their evening activities. Miss Watson led a mindfulness colouring session, Mr Brown taught some cooking skills, Mr Crush took students through some enlightening yoga and the 4th group prepared a dessert with the local cooks!

Tomorrow's activities see our students visit the local Thai school and help teach English to their students.
