Congratulations to our two winners and top performing students Chaewon and Yoonseo who acheived the highest scores in Thailand, in Korean as a first language at IGCSE.
It was a great pleasure to be invited to the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony at Charter International School in November.
The prestigious event included not only the best scores in Thailand, but also the best in the world, and reflects the amazing progress and successes made by schools and students here in Thailand in recent years. Once again, our students from Regents were represented with awards as the best in Thailand.
Two students Chaewon and Yoonseo achieved highest scores in Korean as a first language IGCSE. We, along with their parents were extremely proud of them, and the manner in which they collected the awards.
We hope that this is just the start of their successes and can also help motivate other students to follow in their footsteps in years to come. This was outstanding indeed, and as you can see they were accompanied by their proud teacher Mrs Hannah Kim. Mrs Kim is no newcomer to these awards and her outstanding contribution to our school continues as this is her fourth time her students have made this achievement.
The IGCSE is one of the most academically challenging qualifications currently on offer to 14-16 year old students worldwide. The qualifications cover a broad range of subjects including languages, humanities, social sciences, mathematics, computer science and are well respected by international universities.
The IGCSE provides students with an excellent foundation to be able to embark on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) with confidence.
