Clare Sharma

Reception Teacher (Class RR) and Head of Early Literacy

Clare Sharma holds a BSC(Hons) in Bioscience and Health from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK and a PGCE from the University of Sunderland.

Her journey into teaching began after moving to Dubai with her family. In 2013, she started her Early Years training and initially worked in a nursery where she gained a solid understanding of child development and school readiness.

She has worked in international schools as a Reception Class Teacher for the last 4 years, following the UK Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. Clare is passionate about literacy and instilling a love of literature to support reading, writing and communication skills in young children.

She is proud to be part of the Regents community and she is looking forward to learning about Thai culture whilst living in Thailand.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time relaxing at the beach with her family.
