Jared Howells

Primary Teacher

Jared holds a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS from the University of Wales, Trinity St. David (UK).

Jared has 7 years of experience as a Teacher between British and international schools. His career began in his home in the South West of Wales, where he spent the first 3 years of his teaching career.

He later moved to the city of Chiang Mai in the North of Thailand to teach in a British International School. Here he worked in Upper Key Stage 2 and devised a program of study to support Year 6 Cambridge examinations. He also led the ICT and Digital Literacy programme across the primary phase; delivering CPD sessions.

In 2020, he moved to Qatar in the Middle East to teach in a BSME and BSO accredited school. Here he worked collaboratively within a 5 form-entry year group; developing a rich curriculum through teaching and learning communities. Outside of school he enjoys water-sports, playing drums and watching rugby, as well as spending time with his family.
