Heather Thexton holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geology from the University of Leeds (UK) and a PGCE from the University of Cumbria (Physics specialism).
She has 3 years of experience in a British state school. Her career began in Lancaster, in the North of England, where after having trained and taught in a CofE school, she worked her way up to a Head of Physics position before expatriating to start teaching internationally.
She has now taught for 1 year in Thailand and feels very privileged to be part of the Regents community. Outside of school she enjoys: the Arts - specifically singing and dancing; outdoor pursuits – specifically skiing, mountaineering and SCUBA diving; and trying anything new and challenging that comes her way.
