Julia holds a BA (cum laude) in Spanish with minors in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (USA) and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) English as a Second Language from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
She has over 9 years of experience in education. She has taught English as a Second Language at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, ELS Language Centers, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (years 9-12), and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She was the Curriculum and Program Coordinator for the ESL Department at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington from 2015-2019.
Outside of school, Julia enjoys outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking. She is from a beach town in the USA and loves the ocean and relaxing by the sea. She also enjoys cooking and hospitality.
