He is an experienced Drama Specialist, Head of Department and Theatre Practitioner who has led several highly successful departments in both British Independent and State Schools, and also Internationally.
Early in his career, Nick gained a scholarship place to the prestigious Mountview Theatre School in London and studied Acting and Musical Theatre before working for many years in professional theatre, including roles in ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Blood Brothers’ in London’s West End and touring productions.
Nick’s teaching roles have been four-fold: Director, Head of Department, Drama teacher and Pastoral Tutor. He has taught Drama and Performing Arts to students from EYFS to KS5, including both IB and A-Level and has directed and produced numerous high-quality productions including plays, musicals, cabarets, and revues. Nick has guided students through National Youth Theatre and Drama School auditions and arranged many enrichment opportunites for students such as: Shakespeare Schools’ Festival, FOBISIA and ISTA Festivals and West-end Workshops and has led many residential and day trips both across the UK and internationally.
Nick is delighted to be returning to Regents with his wife and two children, having previously been Head of Drama here from 2011-2015.
