Robert (‘Bob’) holds G.R.S.M and A.R.C.M. Diplomas from the Royal College of Music, a Diploma in Education from the University of Reading and a Masters from Michigan State University.
I joined Regents in 2008. I started piano lessons at the age of 3, violin at 11 and singing at 16, acquiring absolute pitch in the process. I won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music in London, where I studied Piano and Singing as a double first, with Harmony and Counterpoint as a second study. After leaving the Royal College, I decided to go into education, but all my life I have worked professionally in many different guises: opera singer, orchestral conductor, composer, arranger, concert pianist, accompanist, continuo player, jazz pianist, big band director, wind band director, radio programme producer and sound recordist. My compositions and arrangements are performed all over the world and I have conducted in the Far East, Russia and the United Kingdom. I am a member of both the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and BASCA (British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors). I hold G.R.S.M and A.R.C.M. diplomas from the Royal College of Music, a Diploma in Education from the University of Reading and a Masters from Michigan State University. I have published biographies in Baron's Who's Who of the World and the International Who's Who of Classical Music.
