Each locker is fitted with a touchpad which allows students to set their individual entry code, doing away with the annoyance of fumbling for a key, or indeed, forgetting to bring it in the first place.
The locker renovations are just part of much larger improvements happening over the summer at The British International School Shanghai, Pudong. Other changes include a brand new Hive 2 technology laboratory in C Block, a fabulously fun new Early Years playground, and major renovations to Junior School and Early Years’ classrooms.
With less than three weeks until school starts for the 2014-2015 year, builders are feverishly working to have the whole school looking in tip-top order for the start of term.
We’ll be unveiling all the changes on Orientation Day on Friday 22nd August.
