Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!

The C Block foyer resembled a farmers’ market today with tables piled high with pumpkins as students from across the school entered the Year 11 Pumpkin Carving Competition.

The competition is part of Year 11 Project Week fundraising, which also included a range of Halloween-inspired activities during lunchtime, including a Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin competition.

In all, 45 pumpkins were entered. The winners are:

1st - Michelle Lu (Prenursery- Meerkats) winning a box of 12 Halloween cupcakes

2nd - Brightly Shen (7B) winning a bumper box of Skittles and a flashing pumpkin wristband

3rd - Supeeraya Limsumphancharoen in 3B winning a box of Skittles and a flashing pumpkin wristband

The People’s Choice award for the most votes went to Alexia Brent in 6C.

The raffle winner for a box of Halloween cupcakes is Adrienne Lum in 6D.

The Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin competition will continue tomorrow, Thursday 29th October along with sales of pumpkin wristbands and Halloween treats.
