Mock results were pleasing across the year group, with many students already achieving or exceeding their target grades.

Physics - Year 11 sets 2 and 3 have been learning about electromagnetic induction and the national grid, and have practiced their use of the transformer equation.
Mandarin - Year 11 IGCSE students are working on giving directions and describing a map in Chinese. In lessons, students have successfully arranged family members in one image by giving others specific directions in Chinese (see photo)
History - Mr Dawson's class are currently studying for their China exam, focussing on the rise of Chairman Mao - specifically the Long March and the invasion of Japan.
Art - This week, year 11 Art students will be finalizing their current projects based on 'Order and/or Disorder'. They will be starting their exam based project next week with a great opportunity to collect some fantastic primary research on the gallery trip.
German - Miss Ford's German class are studying the topic of environmental protection in German. They are learning complicated vocabulary such as 'Wasserverschmutzung' and 'die Erheizung der Erdatmosphäre' and are able to use such lengthy terms in conversation about the environment in class.
Spanish - Congratulations to Valerie Sautter and Aurora Arena, who recently did an excellent written piece of work on the protection of the environment, incorporating a wide range of really complex structures. Mr Tsui is very proud of their work.
