Nord Anglia International School Shanghai Pudong is looking to appoint exceptional subject teachers to join our teaching team. We welcome applications from outstanding, self-motivated and reflective professionals. We’re looking for the right blend of energy and experience, and a passion for teaching that embraces change and innovation.
As a qualified teacher, you will have significant experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. A minimum of 2 years’ experience of teaching at Post-16 level is essential and experience of the IB Diploma Programme is highly desirable. Experience of working with second language learners or in an EAL setting would be advantageous, as would any experience of teaching Film, Media or Drama.
You will be an excellent communicator and confident with technology: someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom. You won’t be afraid of hard work and will be relentlessly focused on giving our students opportunities for success both in and beyond the classroom. Experience of, or an interest in, being involved in developing the CAS element of the IBDP would be highly appreciated.
