Thank you to those of you who have attended our Academic Review Evenings this week. These are an important part of your child’s education. If you were not able to attend please ensure that you contact the relevant teachers to ensure that you are fully informed of your child’s progress and what their next steps are. We look forward to welcoming Years 7-9 parents at the Academic Review Evenings next week.
We are very excited that Nord Anglia is collaborating with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), currently the world’s number one university according to the QS rankings. We are lucky enough to be able to take four of our students in Year 6 and Year 7 to MIT from April 30th-May 6th 2017. MIT is a world leader in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) learning. During their visit, our students will have the opportunity to engage in active learning in these fields with peers from twenty five other Nord Anglia schools around the world. We look forward to receiving applications for this amazing opportunity from our Year 7 students!
We are also very excited about this year’s production of Into the Woods. Congratulations to the entire cast and good luck as the rehearsal schedule commences. We look forward to seeing the performances in March, and hopefully some previews along the way!
Andrea Lee, our Juilliard Music Curriculum Specialist will be visiting us in school next week. She will be working with students and teachers to further embed the Juilliard Curriculum. We eagerly anticipate her visit on Thursday and Friday.
Best wishes for a lovely weekend,
Carol Camargo and Therese Andrews
