Students' Voices: David Greenberg Visit

18 November 2016

By Lilian Yearwood and Phoebe McLuskie 7A

On Tuesday David T. Greenberg visited our school. He was very nice and extremely funny. We all had a wonderful time as he told us about being a writer and poet.

He shared, with us, some of his books and poems such as: 'Slugs', 'Bugs', 'Snakes', 'Crocs' and 'the book of boys for girls and girls for boys'. He also briefly talked about his first novel which is about his father who was Dr. Martin Luther King's lawyer. We had lots of fun as he described how writers notice things. We had a trip down memory lane when we had to remember events in certain places. Overall it was a fantastic morning!
