Pastries with Parents followed by Stay and Play

25 November 2016

Our Stay and Play Session in Pre-Nursery and Nursery was a huge success and we would like to thank our wonderfully supportive parents for attending this. It started off with a lovely treat of sharing breakfast in the Infants Dining Hall with pastries and hot chocolate. We then moved on to our setting where parents were involved in our morning routines and welcome circle time which all help develop the children’s personal, social and emotional development. We then moved onto some focused activities and continuous provision again enabling parents and guardians be a part of their children’s learning.

The children were so excited to show them all that they do in school and share these experiences with them. Building strong home-school partnership is very important to us and to the development of our children in our care. Our Stay and Play was a great opportunity in nurturing this and in gaining a deeper understanding of how our children learn and how parents can help support them. We look forward to more of these sessions and please keep an eye out for upcoming dates next term in our calendar.
