Year 2 - Sofie H
Year 1 - Elias
Reception - Kitty

Pre-Nursery - Darcy
Throughout the week the students have been using a specific sci-fi or space themed book according to their year group, which all their learning has been based around. Year 2 had a special visitor earlier in the week – Bob, the Man on the Moon came to speak to the students, but was interrupted by a couple of aliens! Year 1 have also been completing some amazing artwork after learning about Van Gogh’s artwork entitled ‘Starry Night’. Today we were also treated to a very aptly themed Class Assembly from 3C where they introduced their topic ‘Time and Place, Earth and Space’.
Each year group will be producing their very own book which will incorporate all the work the children have been completing this week and these will be displayed on the 1st floor corridor outside my office. Please do take the opportunity to come and have a look when they are up.
We have yet another busy week next week with International Week taking place which we are all thoroughly looking forward to. Please do come along to our Parade of Nations on Wednesday morning to see all of our students represent their countries and dress in either national dress or in the colours of their country. Also, please let us know if you would like to participate in our International Week during the week – you could come into the classes to teach the children something about your home country – arts and crafts, cooking or dancing; or you could read a traditional story from your home country. If you would like to lead an activity next week, please drop me an email.
