In English, the children will write a recount about their spring holiday, we will focus on ordering events chronologically and using time connectives and conjunctions to extend and develop ideas.

To complement our new Topic, the children will create their own Cinema banners and investigate how to use questions marks correctly to find out information.

In Mathematics, the children will revisit British money. They will explore the value of different British coins and order them. The children will engage in different role play activities to pay and give change. This will be linked to our new Topic in which they will make their own cinema shop!

The Personal Goal we will be focusing on is 'Enquiry'.

We are very excited to start our new topic 'Time Travelers.' We will begin the topic by celebrating 120 years of filmography!

As Historians, the children will experience going to the cinema to watch the first film ever released to the public, produced by the 'Lumiére' brothers. They will begin to discuss how films have changed over the years and create a bank of questions they would like to find the answers to.
