Although, this week has been a short week, the hive of activity in C Block has been in full flow. The ‘7 Minute Challenge’ organised by our Student Leadership team during lunch has certainly encouraged everyone in Secondary School to get active and cheer house spirit as well as continuing service efforts for future Project Weeks. We shall wait and see which house raised the most during this challenge!
Speaking of challenges and celebrations, I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive well done to 7A who not only won the most ‘Form Challenges’ over last term but actually got them all right! Let’s see if 7A can keep up this record for this term or will 7B or C take their crown at the end of the year?
There have been many things to celebrate already this year and I hope to see as many of you as possible on Tuesday 12 April at the Year 7 Awards Assembly.
Lastly, I am sure you will all join me in giving a warm welcome to the Yoneya family who joined NAIS Pudong this week.
I will now leave you to enjoy the ‘Student Reporter’ section of our newsletter. This week, members of 7C share their highlights of school life over the past few weeks.
Student Reporter
In Spanish class, we are learning how to describe your house and how to describe your bedroom. We really enjoyed learning about the bedroom and we started to make some posters that could describe your house or your bedroom. This has taught as how to describe places of the house which is really helpful if someone wants to know about our house.
This week, all of us in Year 7C have been waiting for our turn in the 7 minute workout. We have been watching the other year groups and preparing ourselves for our turn! We hope that lots of people will join us in doing the challenge and we hope it will be lots of fun and raise lots of funds for next year’s Project Week!!! We just can’t wait!!!
International Week was great fun but we enjoyed the food fair the most. It was an amazing and fun day! We did a lot of different international activities on the day to celebrate internationalism. We all enjoyed being able to dress in our respective countries' costumes and to eat all that delicious and varied food in the Hub!! The parade of nations was also a very exciting and enjoyable activity!!!

This fortnight a massive well done goes to Sebastian Camargo. Sebastian has not been with us for long at NAIS Pudong, however, it has been clear that Sebastian has really embraced life at NAIS and in a new country. Teachers have been very impressed with how his English has developed and the amount of CCAs he attends during the week. Well done Sebastian!

With a growing number of challenges and activities available on Global Campus, here we have a few highlights from Design and Technology:
Design and Technology affect just about everything we do, the way we function and the way we live. Technology is incredibly ambitious. Designers and entrepreneurs are constantly innovating, pushing the boundaries of what is possible, finding solutions and shifting our expectations.
