Next week in English, we will continue to recap of some of the grammar and spelling objectives we have covered in Year 3 this year. The children will recap how and when to use apostrophes, use of conjunctions to express time and cause, using speech marks and spelling rules for prefixes and suffixes. We will also enjoy some class stories and poetry.
In Maths, we will continue to work on geometric reasoning. The children will apply their understanding of angles in shapes and turns by programming a BeeBot. We will also consolidate some of our maths learning from the year by playing some fun mathematical games and solving investigations using our maths skills.
Next week in topic, we will finish our Active Planet topic. The children will learn about the volcanic eruption in Pompeii and the devastation caused. They will also learn about how they can try and stay safe if they are caught in a natural disaster.
