Information and Reminders
Drop off – We would greatly appreciate your support with dropping your child off to school between 8.30-8.45am at the latest; this way we can start our morning circle by 9am.
It is still very cold and sometimes rainy in Shanghai at the moment. Please make sure your child comes to school every day wearing the correct Early Years winter uniform, and with appropriate layers to equip them for the playground. If they come to school wearing rubber boots, please make sure they have their normal black or grey school shoes to change in to when they arrive at school.

Overview of next week’s learning
As we continue next week with our focus story Rosie’s Walk, the children will enjoy acting out the story as a role-play activity. The children will also be asked to develop their own narrative by using their imaginations to think of other places that Rosie the hen might visit on her walk and think about what might happen to the fox that is following her, before adding them to their story maps.
In maths the children will use balance scales to compare the weights of different classroom objects in small groups. The groups will be encouraged to record their findings using pictogram and then, through discussion, compare the findings with other groups.
