We are delighted that a group of our students participated in the FOBISIA Model UN event held in Shanghai last weekend. Two of our students served as Committee Presidents – Cindy Son was President of ECOSOC and Benedicte Vestrum was President of the Security Council. Congratulations also to Rachit Jain who was voted by fellow delegates as the “Most Passionate” in the Security Council with Amanda Cheng scooping the “Most Diplomatic delegate award” in ECOSOC. You can read more about the event here.
We have also received exciting news that one of our students, Jocylyn Teoh has had her story shortlisted by Nord Anglia in the Global Campus Creative Writing Competition. This means that her work will be published in the Nord Anglia book that is distributed to all 43 schools. Congratulations to Jocylyn and all of the other entrants from NAIS Pudong. The winners from last year were also presented with their books in assembly last week, so many congratulations also to Courtney Gill and James Cartwright. You can read more about the competition here.
Parents of students in Years 7-10 will be receiving details of the upcoming Assessment Cycle via email next week. This is taking place from Monday 6th – Friday 17th March.
We look forward to welcoming the parents of Year 12 students to school on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in the IB Academy to learn more about the Extended Essay process.
Best wishes,
Therese Andrews and Carol Camargo
