Information and Reminders
Drop off – We would greatly appreciate your support with dropping your child off to school between 8.30-8.45am at the latest; this way we can start our morning circle by 9am.
It is still cold and sometimes rainy in Shanghai at the moment. Please make sure your child comes to school every day wearing the correct Early Years winter uniform, and with appropriate layers to equip them for the playground. If they come to school wearing rubber boots, please make sure they have their normal black or grey school shoes to change in to when they arrive at school.

Overview of next week’s learning
As we begin to wrap up our current theme the children will begin to consolidate their learning on opposites, showing what they have learnt through games, discussions and practical activities.
Next week is our last week focussing on the story of Rosie’s Walk. The children will continue to develop their own imaginative narratives of the story by adding new locations and incidences with the fox.
In maths the children will continue to explore balance scales and compare the weights of different classroom objects in small groups and record their findings. They will also explore capacity opposites by filling and emptying containers.
