The day saw a wealth of different ideas produced from water filtration to art campaigns; from food distribution programmes to awareness events. Students blended their knowledge of the different STEAM strands, followed the principals of the design process and finished the day with a wealth of well thought out ideas. As the final part of the day students pitched their different ideas by producing short videos to show off the results of their labour.
In the end it was decided that the projects of building greenhouses and plant pots out of recycled materials by James Cartwright, Naina Jaiswal, Phoebe McLuskie, Sasiresh Venkata Subramanian, LeYi He, Juliette Le Godec, Jai Rao and Garance Roule would be selected as NAIS Pudong’s entry into the Global Challenge.
