Overview of next week’s learning

In our first week back of the summer term we will be reading the story Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. This will be our starting point to talk about being brave when saying good bye to our carers and to help understand that it is for a short period; this is also to help our children in settling back into school life. The story will also be our focus for a variety of art and craft activities. As it is spring, in our continuous provision we will set up ‘at the bottom of the garden’ in our small world area with soil and pretend insects.
