As always the traditional cap and gown celebration is a joy to be part of. Having finished an intense month of examinations after their two year journey it was a sheer delight to celebrate what has been an incredible IB journey for these young people. Ms Hughes Head of the IB Academy, shared with guests the unique stories behind each of our graduating students, from their contribution to school life through service initiatives, sport and the arts , to their vast academic successes and contributions through their studies. We have no doubt that as IB Learners our students are equipped with both the academic rigour required for further tertiary study but also the emotional well-being resilience and open-mindedness to be successful in this rather uncertain global world we live in. Congratulations to our student speakers Suzanna and Alex who shared so eloquently both words of wisdom to their peers and fond memories which they will hold dear to them as they embark on their next adventure. Next week sees the final celebrations take place moving from the formality of graduation speeches to the beautiful setting of The W on the Bund for the IB prom.
