International Food Fair & Parade of Nations

A whole day celebrating the wide diversity of nationalities represented at BISS Pudong, including sampling foods from around the world, and a whole school Parade of Nations.

This is a fun and educational day for all students. Volunteer parents from the 57 nations represented at BISS Pudong will be serving up samples all morning of their national food in the International Food Fair being held in the Main Sports Hall . To complement the culinary showcase, there will be performances in the Gymnastics Hall which is the venue where students will eat the food they sample. Students in Pre-Nursery and Nursery will tour the fair, however their food will be pre-chosen by their teachers and teaching assistants and they will return to their classrooms to eat.

Students are encouraged to dress in their national dress to participate in the whole school Parade of Nations, which will, this year, include a United Nations of Early Years mini parade and the singing of a whole-school song led by Mr Russell Seaton, Director of Music, conducting the IB Choir.
