Tamara Keenan

Head of Early Years
Nord Anglia International School Shanghai, Pudong

Since joining NAIS Pudong in 2015, Tamara feels fortunate to have been part of so many of our young pupils’ learning journeys; observing them develop and progress. Having earned her PGCE from the University of Sunderland and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media & Communication Studies with French, from the University of Wolverhampton; Tamara has devoted more than 18 years to working in education with young children and their families. Tamara leads a very experienced team who share her passion for early childhood education and pedagogy. Purposeful play and active learning are in every part of her philosophy to education. It is her belief that in the Early Years, it is about creating enabling environments where children are nurtured to be independent, critical thinkers and global learners.
