Staff Profile: Dean Chaudhry

Chaudhry Dean Mohammed Staff

Reception Class Teacher and Early Years Leader

Dean is an experienced primary practitioner and his love of teaching began at University where he was a Student Ambassador for higher education. Dean completed the Primary PGCE with Masters accreditation at Southampton University with a specialism in Early Years and KS1 teaching. 

His teacher career began in 2010 and he started working at Nord AngIia International school in 2014. Dean has taught in a variety of foundation stage and KS1 settings and he is passionate about the early years and child centred development. For his Masters assignment, Dean completed an in depth study on emotional intelligence in the primary classroom and remains an advocate for the importance of personal, social and emotional development in the Early Years Setting. Dean is currently undertaking a Masters in International Education through King’s University, London. 

Dean is enthusiastic about journalism and loves to write freelance articles in his spare time. He is Teeline accredited from the National Council of Training Journalists and he is passionate about current affairs and politics. Dean loves to travel and experience different cultures, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to explore Asia and the beauty it has to offer. Another passion of his is live music and from Glastonbury to Bonobo, he has travelled to music festivals around the world.
