Year 1 Teacher
Having completed a Law degree at the University of Wales, Wesley then completed his PGCE in Primary Education in 2013. Since then Wesley has taught throughout the North West of England and developed a real enthusiasm for and expertise in the content and delivery of PSHE and Humanities within KS1 and KS2. Key to Wesley's teaching is a strong belief in the holistic approach to learning, closely linked to the school’s Be Ambitious philosophy. As an established and effective Primary school teacher, Wesley has been a valuable member of our team here at NAIS since 2019 and has enjoyed the collaborative approach the school takes in encouraging different phases and year groups to work together, to help teachers and students have deeper understanding of the different types learning happening within the school. Wesley now wants to ensure that students are taught techniques in mindfulness, to help raise academic performance while enhancing a children’s social, creative, and physical well-being. His blend of enthusiasm and knowledge has been a great fit with our school.
