Deputy Head of Primary
With her initial undergraduate background in Media & Communication Studies with French, Tamara then went on to do her Post Graduate Certificate in Education and has been in education since 2002. In her (almost) two decades in the vocation, Tamara has gained varied and extensive experience in both management and teaching within Primary and the Early Years. Five of these years she spent in our sister school, BIS Abu Dhabi, in the UAE.
Tamara has been with NAIS Pudong since 2015. She is part of the Senior Leadership Team and involved in driving the school’s vision and feels fortunate to have been part of our students’ learning journeys; watching them develop and progress.
Building the foundations in education is a passion of Tamara’s and innovative and active learning is in every part of her philosophy to education. It is her belief that teaching and learning is about creating cross-curricular learning opportunities; nurturing students with the confidence to be inquisitive, lead their own learning and be ambitious.

Andrew began his career in education by teaching Secondary English in Nottingham, UK. He subsequently taught Year 6 for five years at an international school in Ipoh, Malaysia. In 2016 he took up the position of Year 6 class teacher and Upper Key Stage 2 Leader at NAIS Pudong, and then Assistant Head Teacher in 2017.
Andrew’s proudest achievements include recently completing his Masters Degree from King's College London which is a unique professional development opportunity for selected Nord Anglia Education staff.
He loves working at NAIS Pudong with a friendly and optimistic group of staff and students.
