Greg joined the NAIS Pudong community in August 2015. Before coming to China, Greg taught in Cambridgeshire for nine years. During his time in the United Kingdom he taught History whilst holding a variety of leadership positions including department head in History, Critical Thinking and Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE).
Since joining our school Greg has continued to teach a wide range of subjects including History, Global Perspectives and Theory of Knowledge. As Key Stage 4 leader, Greg has played an integral role ensuring highly successful GCSE provision in Years 10 and 11. As part of this role Greg has not only worked with students on achieving academic success but has also supported their journey to becoming active and internationally minded global citizens. As an experienced IB practitioner, Greg worked with curriculum leaders, teachers and students to guarantee a smooth transition from the IGCSE courses to the IB Diploma Programme. Greg is pragmatic and organised. As such he has taken a leading role in the planning and running many of our trips such as Project Week, the Adventurous Journeys for the International Award and the Tanzania Expedition. Greg’s main interests out of school include sports. He models a balanced approach by coaching NAIS Pudong football teams.
