Head of Science
After graduating with a first class BSc (hons) Chemistry degree, Paula was a research scientist firstly with ICI, then DuPont following a company buy out. She was in the polyester intermediates field specialising in Pure Terephthalic Acid. In 2002, she decided to embark on her teaching career and firmly says she has had absolutely no regrets in pursuing teaching as a career. She loves the mental stimulation that she needs for the role and which enables her to help others gain the knowledge they need to aid them on their career journey. She taught all specialities of Science and Maths in the North East of England for many years before moving to teach internationally. Paula has been with NAIS Pudong since 2015 and really enjoys teaching successful and ambitious students.
