Having completed a Law degree at the University of Wales, Wesley then completed his PGCE in Primary Education in 2013. Since then Wesley has taught throughout the North West of England and developed a real enthusiasm for and expertise in the content and delivery of PSHE and Humanities within KS1 and KS2. Key to Wesley's teaching is a strong belief in the holistic approach to learning, closely linked to the school’s Be Ambitious philosophy. As an established and effective Primary school teacher, Wesley has been looking to develop his experience and the opportunity to teach at NAIS Pudong was something that makes him very excited. Working in Key Stage 1 at NAIS is something that Wesley is really looking forward to and is ready to create a strong Year 1 team. His blend of enthusiasm and knowledge, will be a great fit for our students.
Wesley’s personal interests and hobbies include attending concerts, festivals and musical events and is also a keen swimmer and runner. Coming from Manchester, football is a passion, with Wesley falling in the red half of the city. Having visited China several times, Wesley hopes to explore more of its diverse landscape and culture and has challenged himself to learn as much Mandarin as he can.
