Hannah attended the University of St. Mark and St. John in Plymouth, England, to study Primary Education. After receiving her degree (B’Ed Primary Education with Mathematics), she returned to Kent and took a job in a local primary school as a full-time class teacher in Year 5. She spent two wonderful years there, developing and growing as a teacher. She chose to specialise in Mathematics at university, as it has been a favourite subject of hers from a young age.
During the Summer between her first and second year teaching, Hannah decided to travel around Europe to visit new places and learn more about different cultures. She thoroughly enjoyed her time travelling, and this encouraged her to pursue opportunities outside of the UK and Europe and joined the NAIS Pudong Primary Team in 2018. She has loved meeting new people and expanding her knowledge of the world and exploring China and other areas of Asia.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys sitting and reading a book, and often finds herself lost in different stories for hours. She loves to spend her time outside in the sunshine, playing games with family and friends, and also walking dogs. Having spent a lot of time on family holidays travelling the UK, she has also developed a love of board games, which she found was a solution to rainy weather!
