Staff Profile: Chris Lowe

Chris Lowe

Year 2 Class Teacher

Chris received his degree in History from Sheffield Hallam University in 2009 before going on to complete his PGCE in Primary Education at Liverpool Hope University the following year. He taught in the UK before moving to Cairo, Egypt to take up his first international teaching positon. Chris taught in Key Stage One for several years in British curriculum schools. He then went on to be Head of P.E., where he worked across the primary age range. Chris then moved to Dubai and taught in Key Stage Two allowing him to gain further experience teaching in another international setting. He is looking forward to continuing his career at NAIS Pudong.

Chris is an avid sportsman and is keen to take part in any sporting challenges. He particularly enjoys football, tennis and going to the gym. Chris enjoys visiting new places and has taken the opportunity to travel to many interesting countries around the world. His favourite places so far have been Iceland and Maldives, two very different climates but equally amazing. Chris is a fan of playing strategic games and will happily challenge anyone to a game of chess, draughts or his personal favourite Connect 4. He enjoys spending time reading books, learning (rather badly) to cook and is very excited to experience life in Shanghai.
