Staff Profile: Loren Eichhorn

Year 2 Class Teacher

Loren was educated both in India and England. She has worked in primary education since 2003. Prior to joining NAIS Pudong in 2011, Loren spent five years in the UK. She did her PGCE at the Leeds Metropolitan University and an MA in Education at the University of Leeds, following which she provided academic support to Year 3 and 4 students in a Leeds primary school.

Since joining NAIS Pudong Loren has had the opportunity to work in Early Years and KS1, having taught both Year 1 and Year 2 classes. Loren loves the multi-cultural environment and the community feeling at NAIS Pudong and feels privileged working alongside an exceptional group of teachers and eager and enthusiastic students.

In her spare time Loren looks forward to spending quality time with her family and doing CrossFit. Loren believes that it is important to build a trusting relationship with her students in class to allow students to make mistakes and learn from them. Loren enjoys teaching Maths and delights in problem solving activities with students.
