Staff Profile: Greg Siccardi

Greg Siccardi

History Teacher and Head of Key Stage 4

Greg joined us at NAIS from the UK after nine years’ experience in a secondary school in Cambridgeshire. During those nine years, he taught History whilst holding a variety of leadership positions including leading departments in History, Critical Thinking and PSHE. Greg was also involved in the pastoral care, leading Year 10 in their GCSE journey.

Greg joined us at NAIS in 2015. Since then he continued to teach a wide range of subjects including History, Global Perspectives and Theory of Knowledge. Greg has been a vital part of the GCSE curriculum leading our Key Stage 4 provision. As part of this role Greg has not only worked with students on achieving academic success but has also worked on creating students who become active, global citizens. This has seen him involved in the running of many of our trips such as Project Week, the Adventurous Journeys for the International Award and the Tanzania Expedition. Greg is also heavily involved in the students progression at IB and Higher Education.

Greg’s main interests out of school include travelling and sports. Football in particular is a real passion for him. He enjoys playing competitively and has coached teams both locally in Shanghai and for NAIS.
