Mark Haskins

Mark Haskins

Assistant Head of Secondary

Mark has been a teacher for over a decade and has worked in the UK, Middle East and the Czech Republic.  During his career, he has taught ICT and Computer Science, along with being a member of SLT and leading on matters of assessment, curriculum, and academic operations.  He is particularly interested in using IT to modernise approaches to education and to provide insights and enhancements to current methodology.

Having become part of Nord Anglia two years ago, he is very excited about taking up the position of Assistant Head of Secondary in another NAE school.  As well as looking forward to learning about Chinese culture and society, he is also excited about making an impact on the community of NAIS Pudong.

Family is the most important thing to Mark; his wife Jane is the Head of English at NAIS and his two boys attend the school as students.  He enjoys most sports, especially cycling, golf, rugby, surfing, rowing, football, running, and weight-lifting - to name a few! His other passion is music; particularly the blues and flamenco guitar.
