Our School Day

From the school bus pick up to the after school clubs, it's a full programme of activity at the Pudong campus of Nord Anglia International School Shanghai.

The corridors start to bustle at 8.15 as school buses arrive and parents drop off at one of two entrances.  Registration begins at 8.30 and lessons start at 8.40 for everyone.

Class based students in Early Years and Primary school have a full day with their class teacher and teaching assistant, specialist teachers take them for lessons in Mandarin, PE and Music.

Subject based students in Secondary school have six lessons per day, with a fifteen minute break time and one hour for lunch. 

Daily subject timetables vary depending on year levels, but the following tables indicate a typical busy school day:

10.00am Morning break
10.30am Lessons resume
11.30am Lunch begins (morning only children go home)
1.00pm Afternoon lessons begin (or nap time for those who need it)

3.00pm End of the school day (Pick up at Early Years Entrance)
