How do I sign up?
You can download an application form at the bottom of this page. Fill in the form and hand this into the Finance Office in B Block with the full fee amount. Once this has been received, you will then receive an email confirming your lessons. Please note: you may not sign up simply by emailing a music instructor—the form must be filled in with the fees and delivered to the school.
How do I request a certain instructor?
If you have lessons in the past and you would like to keep lessons with the same instructor, please write the instructors name on top of the form.
How/where do I find out my lesson times?
There are three ways in which you can have access to the timetable of lesson times.
• Timetables are posted in the Performing Arts Centre music hallway on the first level.
• Timetables are given to each student’s classroom teacher for years 1-6.
• Timetables are emailed to you personally by your child’s private instrument or voice instructor.
What is my child learning?
All instructors use the newly developed Home Exercise Journal, which is filled out weekly by the instructor. Within the booklet, the student has specific exercises written, as well as an area for the document to be signed by parents to check off the amount of practise that has happened during the week.
We are a Certified ABRSM Registration Centre. For more information about the ABRSM, please contact the Music Department.
